In March 2020, the world was turned upside down. And little did we know that it would change our lives forever. That's because through a little dating app called Hinge, Shalin and Parveen matched during COVID lock down. One of the first messages Shalin sent Parveen was about how difficult it would be to get through quarantine without any live sports, especially involving Bay Area teams. It was the first thing that Shalin and Parveen noticed about each other's dating profiles. They began having a few healthy arguments about which team was better: A's vs. Giants, Arsenal vs. Liverpool and when the San Jose Sharks would finally win the cup. They even compared notes on what it was like growing up as an only child vs being a twin. After a few sporadic messages early on, Shalin and Parveen would start to contact each other every day and although they couldn't go on their first date until 6 months later, they knew there was strong connection that could turn into something special. Two out of their first three dates involved watching sports (of course), so they knew they were made for each other. Pretty soon after they were meeting each other's families & friends and traveling together, which included a special trip to Cabo last December that would unite them forever. And the rest is history...
