With the Delta Variant causing the cases to go up, Santa Clara and Alameda county have mandated an indoor mask policy even for vaccinated individuals. Therefore, our guests will need to have masks for the sangeet and reception. Although keeping the mask on won't be reinforced, it is highly encouraged for your safety and for the safety of those around you. Masks and hand sanitizers will be provided at all the events. For any other questions, feel free to reach out to our maid of honors or best man.
Your safety is of the highest priority to us. If you are not vaccinated against COVID and are NOT experiencing any symptoms, we kindly ask that you wear a mask for the events and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizers will be provided. California is allowing all people 16+ to get vaccinated after April 15th (you can sign up for the vaccine here: https://myturn.ca.gov/).
Please RSVP by August 1st.
#DollyChaliFalakTak For those of you who don't know Parveen's nickname is Dolly. This hashtag is a word play from a Bollywood song (Falak Tak). The hashtag roughly translates to: "Dolly walks along with me to the horizon/sky." Please be sure to use our hashtag! We would love to see your posts and photos throughout the wedding week!
Yes, there is a parking lot right in front of the venue for the sangeet and wedding. There is a parking garage located directly across San Jose City Hall that is of no cost for our guests. For parking at the San Jose City Hall, the garage is located at 50 N 4th St, San Jose, CA 95112 (https://goo.gl/maps/GPJHFKy1c7pWTFYa9). There are two entrances, one is on 4th street and another one on 5th street. The garage is located between Santa Clara and St. John Street and is free for our guests.
They will not! We are working on the timeline for each event to make sure we are as punctual as possible unless there are any unforeseen situations.
We kindly request no boxed gifts. Falak and I are just starting our journey together and after moving in together we will have a better idea of what we need.
