The story of how we met is a little unorthodox (but what good love story doesn't start off with a bang anyway, right?). We met when we were in college up at Colorado State (go Rammies). Our first date was in the fall of 2010 to Cold Stone Creamery, the only problem was that we were on a double date and we weren't dating... we were actually dating each other's roommates (#canyousayawkward). Fast forward to summer of 2011, Tucker and I both had dumped our roommates, and decided to give things a try on a romantic date to Chilli's. Turns out, we hit it off! Eight years and many adventures later (not to mention a few close calls), Tucker finally decided to get down on one knee and seal the deal. It hasn't been easy (ahhh, love at 19, yikes) but we cannot wait to do life together and officially become a family of three (that is, us and our tiny pup, Benny).

On our eight-year anniversary, Tucker managed to put together quite the surprise. Ashley had headed off to get her nails done with a friend and returned home to a note from Tuck. The note was the first stop of a long day of scavenger hunting all over the city to some of our most memorable spots. The last stop of the scavenger hunt was at the top of Flagstaff Mountain (our "spot") where Tuck got down on one knee. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
