On Mother’s Day 2021, a last-minute invite to play beach volleyball in Huntington Beach changed everything. What started as a casual game under the California sun quickly turned into undeniable chemistry—with just the right amount of friendly competition. Phone numbers were exchanged, and a simple follow-up text led to our very first date at Dave & Buster’s. Somewhere between arcade games and playful trash talk, Angelika beat Rob pretty badly in basketball Pop-A-Shot—a moment Rob still claims he “wasn’t warmed up for.” From there, one beach game turned into many. Volleyball turned into dates. Friendly competition turned into something much deeper. Somewhere between the sand, sunshine, and endless laughter, we fell in love. On September 2025, Rob proposed on the Big Island of Hawaii. Making it the easiest “yes” of Angelika’s life. We officially said “I do” on December 13, 2025. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our vows and reception surrounded by the friends and family who have supported and cheered us on from the very beginning.
