For those of you who are not familiar with how Nick and Sam met, here it goes. It was fall 2012 and Nick had just transferred to Illinois State University and Sam just moved into the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority House. Nick’s roommate happened to be friends with Sam’s roommate at the time and the boys had invited the sorority house over for a pregame. That night Nick and Sam spoke a lot, shot gunned a beer (Sam won) and played a few rounds of beer pong. After that, Nick and Sam hung out on and off for the rest of the year and started dating in 2014. #Rollbirds

For the last 3 years, Diane's (Nick's mom) side of the family hosts a blind wine tasting around the holidays which is always a blast. So Sam decided to host a blind wine tasting in March with some of her friends. Little did Sam know, Nick had bigger plans for that night. With a blind wine tasting, everyone brings a bottle of wine in a brown paper bag. As they arrive everyone places their brown bagged bottle into another brown bag with a number on it and it is taped up. Sam being the host went around to everyone and had them try the first bottle, review it and so on. After all the bottles have been tasted and reviewed, everyone would rank their top bottles and vote.
