Kayla quickly became one of Sonya and Matt’s best friends after Matt met her dog grooming. After she opened Pawlished and Matt started working under her, they quickly adopted a “annoying little brother” and older sister dynamic. Sonya & Matt are thankful for Kayla’s kindness, humor, and endless insight. Sonya’s especially thankful for having another person to talk to about books & keep Matt in check ;)

Alyssa is like the little sister Sonya always wanted, and quickly became one of her best friends. Sonya enjoys annoying Alyssa, seeing musicals with her, and attending anime conventions. Alyssa enjoys calling Sonya & Matt "mom & dad" since they are "old" and bicker like the soon to be married couple that they will be.

Meghan is like Sonya’s surrogate mother. While technically her Aunt, she has provided love and guidance to Sonya - even when Sonya didn’t always want it as a stubborn teenager. Without all the help from her, Sonya would have never progressed to where she is today, or acquired her complete adoration for books.

Athena is Matthew and Sonya’s youngest daughter. A sweet and slightly mischievous girl, Athena likes to charm others with her convincing "baby voice" to get her way - which usually works 99% of the time, especially with her dad.

Toni is Matthew’s mother and probably his favorite person ever. Toni is the best mother Matthew could have ever prayed for and he is so thankful to have a strong example in what a woman should be, set by her. Both the bride and groom love her SO much.
