On the conterary of what Drew tells everyone: no, we did NOT meet at Hooter's. It was just another saturday night. My best friend, Shelby, invited me to a bonfire in Jersey, GA. I was home from college for the summer and thought, "why not?" I threw on a tee-shirt and some shorts and met her out in what felt like the middle of nowhere. I pulled up to our friends hunting land where he had a bonfire already going. I got out, said hey to the people I knew, and sat on the picnic table and cracked open a Bud Light. (All good love stories start with a beer, right?) After about an hour or so of being there, I saw this really pretty Ruby Red tacoma pull up in front of the fire. (See where this is going?) This tall, skinny, REALLY cute guy hopped out. He had it all. The looks, the hair, the body, the ripped jeans. He said hey to a few people and stopped and gave Shelby a hug. 30 minutes later, Shelby, me and a few other people hopped in the bed of his truck to go ride power lines. I noticed his truck was a 5-speed. I peeped my head through the back glass and asked if i could drive. He laughed and said "no" a thousand times but eventually gave in. After riding, we dropped everyone off back at the bonfire and drove to the McDonalds up the road. We talked for a minute before heading back. Everyone thought more happened that night, but unfortunately not. We were just two kids in a red pick up who never thought in four years we'd be getting married with two baby boys. ****Just to add, we didn't talk after that night. We met a few more times at a few different parties but nothing truly happened until November 16, 2016. We went on our first date at Longhorns and...I'm assuming you know how the rest happened.
