It was the start of Christmas Break, and as Stef walked in the door she noticed that Mike was nicely dressed for a casual dinner which was slightly suspicious. The plan was to double date with Jack and Julie at this place downtown called Sapori Trattoria. On the car ride there, Mike suggested a rooftop bar and Stef's response was obviously "NO!" She then suggested that they go to the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights because she had been asking Mike to take her to the lights ever since they started dating. Mike was smiling inside because he knew that would be her suggestion. They finally reached the restaurant and sat down to have a nice dinner with Jack and Julie. Julie walked in saying that she was already not feeling well. They ordered a bottle of wine, which Julie only had a few sips from before handing it to Jack. Dinner arrived, which Julie only had a few bits of before heading to the bathroom. When she returned, she said that she had just gotten sick and that it was better if she went home. Now, Stef was feeling horrible because every time she had met Julie, Julie was sick! So Mike and Stef finished their dinner and finally headed to the zoo. After finding a great parking spot, Jack told Mike to delay because the camera wasn't working. Stef saw Mike peek at his phone, so he told her that Julie had just thrown up in the Uber! They walked in, and Stef said that her goal was to take more pictures, to which Mike said "there'll be plenty of time for pictures." Mike took a look at the map and said "I need to go to the bathroom". Stef was furious because they passed every bathroom along the way. They finally stopped at the Carlson House, which didn't look like a bathroom at all. So Stef followed Mike up the stairs and was bombarded by flashing lights, a sign that said "Will You Marry Me?", and a beautiful ring. It was such an amazing proposal she "Yes!" She also found out that Julie wasn't sick, she was the one taking the pictures!!
