Our ceremony will take place at St. Mark Church 9 GARDEN CT. CRANSTON, RI 02920 and then our reception will take place at Newport Harbor Island Resort 1 GOAT ISLAND RD NEWPORT, RI 02840
Please plan to arrive at our ceremony for 1:00pm. Late arrivals will have to wait outside (yes, even if it's raining) until the entrance ends so that our entrance and our videographers/photographers are not disrupted by a late arrival. For our reception, you can arrive any time on property prior to 5:30pm!
We have provided RSVP cards stamped courteously for you to return back to us. Please make sure you specifically mention each individual name attending along with meal choice or a need for children meal. You also have the option to RSVP online via our website. If your RSVP seems to get lost in the mail, we will be asking you to fill out the RSVP form provided online. We will not be taking verbal food orders/attendance. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING RSVPS AFTER AUGUST 1ST DUE TO LIMITED TIME FOR FINAL COUNT NUMBERS.
We kindly ask a formal evening attire dress code from all of our guests attending. You're in Newport after all! Females are NOT to wear white/ivory/cream. Males can wear a suit. ABSOLUTELY NO DENIM! Most importantly, we just want you to be comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, just let it all hang loose!
The Drink's Are On Us - The Hangover Is On You!!! Sip slowly, take a water break, and enjoy. (please scroll down to last FAQ if you drank way too much)
We are leaving this as optional for only immediate family members discretion. Please refer to your invitations & RSVP for how many seats are reserved for your party. St. Marks has a crying room in the rear of the church if needed. We request parents who bring their little ones to our reception to be mindful of alcohol consumption and to be mindful of watching them throughout the night!
We went with the safest option ... chicken fingers and fries! This can only be provided to children 12 and under.
If your invitation states your name “and Guest,” then yes you can bring a date. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. The RSVP will include how many seats have been reserved for your party. If your invitation allows for a date and you know in advance that you will opt to come solo please let the bride/groom know as early as possible! WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL PLUS ONES AFTER AUGUST 1ST. FIND YOUR DATES RESPONSIBLY AND PROMPTLY! :)
The Bride & Groom are not providing transportation at the end of the night. We strongly encourage you to game plan your evening in advance.
