South Cape Beach State Park

A lovely barrier beach with dunes, boardwalks, and views over Nantucket Sound. Great for swimming, sunbathing, or just a relaxed beach stroll.

-Old Silver Beach — soft sand, great for swimming and sunsets. -Falmouth Heights Beach — close to town, very visitor-friendly. -Menauhant Beach, Chapoquoit (Chappy / “Chappy”) — these are favorites for locals. -Surf Drive Beach — scenic and convenient.

Shining Sea Bikeway

Shining Sea Bikeway, Falmouth, MA

A ~10.7-mile paved trail from North Falmouth to Woods Hole. Great for biking, jogging, or walking, with coastal views, marshes, ponds, etc.

Island Queen to Martha's Vinyard

A classic Cape day trip: depart Woods Hole / Falmouth on the ferry, spend a few hours in Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven, then return.
