In 2019, our paths crossed thanks to our friend, Alivia. We went to Joe’s place for games, pizza, and some intense bonding (if you know, you know). I couldn't help but notice how cute Joe was, but that was just a normal night for Joe ;) A year down later, it turns out there was more in store for us as we found ourselves in the same class during Joe’s final semester at Liberty. Joe's post-class chats and his compliments on my shoes (we seemed to have a shoe telepathy thing going on) gradually paved the way for our friendship. After Joe graduated in December, we kept in touch. But it was a visit in April that truly sparked something special. Almost a first date, except Cole Fleetwood also joined in on the fun (thanks for keeping us on our toes, Cole) at The Muse for coffee. Despite the third wheel, that weekend was pure joy and left us eager to see each other again soon. Then came the infamous Ohio wedding situation, kindly permitted by Bri and Johnny Mack. A seemingly casual coffee idea in Joe’s home state turned into Joe accompanying me to their wedding. That weekend we had our first official date, and as they say, the rest is history. A few weeks later, Joe took the leap and asked me to be his girlfriend. Time flew by, and almost two years later, Joe asked me to be his wife. Praising Jesus that he did! We can’t wait for you to join us on the best day of our lives, January 13, 2024, to continue the love story that God is writing.
