We were "setup" by a mutual friend. I say that lightly and that's because only one of us knew it was a setup. I was visiting a friend (who had recently moved to Carrington) over Christmas break from college. It was just a relaxing evening catching up and she wanted to introduce me to a couple friends she had met since she moved there, and one of those friends was Will. Now I just thought I was meeting her friends while unknowingly to me, Will had been informed all about me and how good we would be together. It was a fun evening but after everyone left Will had messaged my friend something along the lines of "Too bad she's not interested". When she FINALLY told me her master plan I was so embarrassed and felt so bad I was perfectly content with hiding away and never seeing him again. However my friend decided that wasn't happening and took my phone to add his number/text him, then add him on all social media, then visit him at work the next day. It wasn't perfect but it worked, we quickly became a couple. We were long distance for five months until I graduated college and moved in with him in his home in Carrington.

It was during Chelsea's family Christmas. Originally Will wanted to do it during Pictionary, but my dad was busy cooking the turkey and Will wanted everyone around for the big moment. The next game that was played was spoons. If you've never played it can be very dangerous and competitive as every round someone gets out if they didn't get a spoon. After I got out I asked my aunt if she had the stocking game that we had played last Christmas. Its where you put items in a stocking and have to feel around for one minute and guess whats all in the stocking just by touch. She had not had one but quickly filled a Santa hat up to use to play the game. She was aware of Wills proposal plans for the evening and they came up with a new plan. My cousin was first and had a hat full of random hotel items and I was second, however a second hat was used and just the ring was inside. Will got down on one knee and I cried very loudly. And as you all know I SAID YES!
