I first met Brian helping a guy move his car, which had broken down outside the climbing gym. That was before I actually moved to Maryland. We didn't become friends for another six months, when we started playing music together. It was all uphill from there with so many common interests, and being roommates since summer of 2014. Brian and I have really bonded over our hallway discussions standing outside our rooms. Usually they last so long that we end up seated in our doorways talking for hours about whatever troubles are going on. I wouldn't trade those discussions for anything.

Jeanne is one of my oldest childhood friends. I practically lived at her house for many years, popping over to hang out almost everyday after school. She hasn’t gotten rid of me just yet 🙃

Chi was the first person I befriended when I moved to Maryland. He was present for my first Maryland birthday, and our friendship has grown so much since then. Chi has always been known to plan things to the next level, be it climbing olympics team jerseys or a climbing/snowboarding trip to CT/VT because he found $50 tickets. He is a great source of advice and entertainment, and I greatly value his friendship.

Another one of my oldest childhood friends! Always the life of the party, she never fails to make me laugh and smile :) Apart from her ability to bring joy everywhere she goes, she is an unbelievably loyal friend. I can’t imagine tying the knot without her.

I first met Chase at a climbing competition in Pennsylvania. It was during a snow storm and some guy was driving around a really nice car that I expected to get in a wreck. But it was a audi and has all wheel drive. And Chase is a big guy who does big things (like drive a fancy Audi in a snow storm to a climbing competition). We have been very close friends since we met. It's been challenging getting to spend time with him, but when I do, it's always a good time.

Steph is my close friend from undergrad and med school. We grew up knowing one another but didn’t have the opportunity to really become friends until college. Our friendship continued to grow when we became roomies in our first 2 years of med school!
Dan Moore

Dan and I slowly became friends at the climbing gym. We were both challenging each other to climb just a little harder. I very much enjoyed when the relationship spilled over into snowboarding. Though, I'm confident to say I haven't really challenged him with snowboarding; he's pretty good at it. The 7 hours of driving to and from our favorite mountain (Killington) has always been a highly valued bonding time for our friendship. It's been a chance for us to really get to know each other and dig into things.
