FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 30th, 2026

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Question

What are the addresses for the wedding venues?

Answer

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. Palm Coast, FL 32137

Question

What is the expected weather?

Answer

Expect warm, pleasant spring weather with an average daytime high around 82-83F and comfortable nighttime lows near 65-67F. It is generally sunny but can be breezy, with a low to moderate chance of rain. The ceremony is outdoors, so please dress comfortably.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us in Formal Garden Party attire. Think of it as the elegance of a formal event combined with the vibrant, natural beauty of a garden in summer. For men, a suit and tie, and for women, a dressy jumpsuit or a knee-length or longer summer dress. We invite guests to lean into the garden party theme by wearing light-colored suits and floral-patterned or pastel-colored dresses, if you already own them. (A polite note on color: To honor wedding tradition, we kindly request that our guests avoid wearing shades of white, ivory, cream, and other light pastels that may be mistaken for white.) In a Nutshell: Do: Embrace color, light fabrics, and floral patterns. Don't: Wear anything you'd wear to a casual barbecue (e.g., jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops).

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away and silenced during the ceremony. We've hired an amazing photographer to capture the moment and we'd be happy to share the photos with you afterward! You are welcome to take photos later during the dinner celebration.

Question

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

Washington Oaks State Park does not allow food or drink at the park. We will be celebrating in the evening at a nearby villa. Dinner will be served at 4:00PM, featuring a selection of seafood, steaks, and charcuterie, beautifully accompanied by wine.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Parking will be at the main garden parking lot. Please know that you will need to walk to get to the ceremony area, so please wear comfortable shoes.

Question

Can I bring a date or a plus-one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Because we are having a very intimate micro-wedding with just our closest family members and friends, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones unless specifically named on the invitation. We made this choice to ensure we can spend meaningful time with every single person in attendance. Thank you for your understanding—it means the world to us that you'll be there!

Question

I have a question that isn't answered here. Who can I contact?

Answer

If you have any questions before the wedding day, please feel free to reach out to us at 859-512-9202.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will have an Airbnb to host a few guests on the day of the wedding, May 10th. Please let us know if you'll be staying with us that night when you RSVP!
