PLEASE DO NOT WEAR RED (traditional bride color), WHITE OR BLACK (reserved for mourning). You are welcome to wear any modest clothing (please make sure legs are covered) of your choice. Head coverings are required and shoes must be removed before entering the main hall. Limited bandanas are available at the Gurudwara if you forget a head covering. You are also more than welcome to come in traditional Indian outfits! We are bringing two cultures together and will not be offended! If interested, please see suggestions below: For Women: Salwar Suits, Anarkalis or Lehengas are easier to put on (saris are difficult to drape!) For Men: Sherwanis/Kurta Pajamas are common
Detailed programs will be available in the Main Hall at the Gurudwara but if you would like to read up on the ceremony process beforehand, here is a helpful link! You can scroll down to "Wedding Rituals" to read up on what will happen at the Gurudwara. https://www.sikhanddread.com/sikh-weddings
There is a parking lot on the Gurudwara grounds, but please note that spaces are limited and we strongly recommend car pooling.
Please click on the RSVP tab on this website! Reservations will close on January 15, 2023. This is so that we can request enough services from our vendors to have a great time!
