Like so many modern love stories, ours began on a dating app, Hinge. Justin claimed he knew the best spot in town for queso, which Sarah obviously had to find out where that was! From that very first date, there was an instant connection — the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known each other forever. Shortly after that, we lost touch for a little while, but fate had other plans. When we reconnected months later, the connection was just as strong as the first time, reminding us both that some things are simply meant to be. One of our favorite things we discovered while getting to know each other, was that our birthdays are only one day apart— one of those small but meaningful reminders that our lives have always been in sync, and that we were destined to be soulmates. Since then, our story has only grown richer. We welcomed our sweet son, Elliot, who has been the greatest joy and adventure we could have ever imagined. Becoming parents together has strengthened our love for one another in ways we never knew possible. Justin’s proposal was nothing short of magical (and a complete surprise!). Over Thanksgiving weekend, Sarah had arranged for family Christmas photos with Elliot. The session started with what she thought were just “mom and dad” pictures, but Justin quickly got down on one knee to propose. With the help of Sarah's best friend, Tayler, and the photographer, he turned a quick photo session into one of the happiest moments of our lives. After the proposal, we headed back home to celebrate with both our families that were already in town for Thanksgiving! Now, with Elliot by our side, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter — celebrating our love and future with all of our favorite people.
