We are so excited to share our special day with you!

We met our junior year of high school after John transferred schools. By the end of the year, we had become friends but weren't super close yet. The following summer, I worked at one of his parent's restaurants, and we would occasionally have shifts together. These were my favorite to work. We continued to get closer as the summer went on, and soon after the beginning of our senior year of high school, we were talking everyday and staying up way too late texting. That October I was a homecoming maid and asked John to be my escort. Homecoming day John asked me to be his girlfriend, and we have been inseparable since. (Well except during Covid lockdown and when we decided to go to separate colleges for two years.) After graduation, we went to universities at the opposite ends of the state from each other. Facetime was our saving grace during this period. My junior year I transferred to Louisiana Tech, where we have spent the last few years working on our future together. We have grown so much from those seventeen year olds, and we thank everyone who has gotten us to this point.
