Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle service AFTER the wedding. Pickup is 10PM from the wedding venue and the drop off will be the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Portland. Please plan to arrange your ride to the venue, we recommend taking Uber or Lyft.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Please check your invite for a +1. If you do not see a +1, we are confident you will have fun without a date :)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please check your invite first! As a general note, kids are welcome at all events but we will not provide babysitting services during the wedding. If you're interested in hiring a babysitter and/or sharing a sitter with other wedding guests, text Amber for recommondations/more info.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Portland summer is magical. It is mostly warm and sometimes hot, with low humidity. Temperatures peak in late July, early August with an average daily high of 81 °F.

What should I wear?

Please see our Wedding Details page for the dress code by event. Indian attire is welcomed but not required for all events.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

For those wearing heels, we recommend wedges or a larger platform. The wedding venue has a mix of grass and gravel. We do not recommend stilettos or tall heels.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Friday's Welcome Night will have both indoor and outdoor areas. Saturday's Hindu Ceremony will be indoors and the Wedding Reception will be outdoors with a covered area for dinner and dancing.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Please contact us prior to the event if you need special assistance so that we can coordinate with our vendors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both events on Saturday have private lots with ample parking. Friday's event will have free street parking.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our newlywed fund would be appreciated.
