Swan Island Dahlias
The Annual Dahlia Festival will be happening at Swan Island Dahlia Farm and is free to visit. You have the option to ride the Canby Ferry on the way. It is approximately 20 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area.
Willamette Valley
Visit the wineries in the Willamette Valley. Tyler and Brittany recommend Stoller Family Estate, Durant at Red Ridge Farms, Willamette Valley Vineyards and Domaine Serene. The valley is approximately 50 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area. Willamette Valley Vineyards and Domaine Serene also have wine lounges in Lake Oswego. Another local option is Tumwater Vineyard in West Linn.
Multnomah Falls
Multnomah Falls is the "most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest". We recommend getting there early if you're going on a Saturday or Sunday because the parking lot fills up fast. It is approximately 40 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area. There are many other hikes and waterfalls if you're looking to do some site seeing. Tyler and Brittany also enjoy the Angel's Rest hike.
Willamette Falls
Willamette Falls is the second largest waterfall by volume in the United States. Sitting right between Oregon City and West Linn, it is a quick and easy visit.
Lake Oswego Farmers' Market
This farmers' market is in the Lake Oswego downtown plaza, which overlooks the lake and has specialty shops and restaurants. Tyler and Brittany recommend Holy Taco and Bamboo Sushi. It is approximately 15 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area.
Portland Farmers' Market at PSU
This Saturday farmers' market is much larger than the Lake Oswego Farmers' Market, with more than 100 vendors. It is in the park blocks in downtown Portland. It is approximately 25 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area.
Willamette Garage
The Willamette Garage is a covered outdoor patio with food trucks and a bar in the Historical Willamette Neighborhood, where Brittany and Tyler live.
Bridgeport Village
Bridgeport Village is a specialty and boutique outdoor shopping mall. It is approximately 15 minutes from the West Linn / Oregon City area.
Hood River Fruit Loop
The Hood River Fruit Loop is a self-guided tour through 35 miles of the scenic Hood River Valley. Along the loop is 30 on-the-farm fruit stands, wineries, breweries, cideries, and flowers fields. The loop takes a full day on average. Hood River is approximately an hour from the West Linn / Oregon City area.
