It's Happening!

One of the first memories of their relationship is Parker watching Lauren take down a cupcake in a single bite, and in that moment he knew she was special. Later when Lauren went to study abroad in high school, Parker's interest piqued and he wanted to know everything about this crazy adventure and this peculiar girl. It wasn't until months after Lauren returned — and Parker's persistence — that they started their relationship. Almost 10 years later, after thousands of miles traveled, days worth of phone calls, and a history fit for a lifetime; they have formed what their relationship is today through determination, an unbreakable friendship, and an undying love for each other.

In the summer of 2017, Lauren took Parker to Guy Savoy in Paris for his birthday. After sharing the most remarkable meal of their lives, that's when he knew. On the day he proposed, Parker told Lauren the story of the moment he was sure he wanted to marry her, and took her to the front of his family's home where they had spent hours together and shared countless hellos and goodbyes. He pulled the ring out the nook of the oak tree in his front yard, and asked her to share all of the adventures with him for the rest of their lives. And she, of course, said yes.
