We suggest staying in uptown Charlotte to see all Charlotte has to offer! There is a hotel for every budget and every accommodation. Also, the wedding venue is only a 10-15 minute Uber/drive from uptown Charlotte. We did not block off hotel rooms, so the choice is yours!
