We met when we were 19, young, figuring out life, and clearly not ready for the story God had planned for us. We went our separate ways, did some growing up, and thought that was the end of it.But as it turns out, He had other plans... and a really great sense of timing (and humor).Years later we matched on Hinge, just two slightly older, slightly wiser people who instantly felt like something familiar had come back around. Our first date felt like picking up where we left off, comfortable and easy. From that moment on, we were all in. There were lots of laughs, movie dates, soccer games, and one very important makeover moment, when I kindly suggested that Parker say goodbye to his very long hair. (Bless that man for listening.) We both believe it wasn’t luck or coincidence that brought us back together it was our Faith and trusting God's plan. He knew what he was doing all along, even when we didn’t. Now, we’re getting married, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate with the people who’ve loved us through every part of the journey. Let’s do this thing!
