We're Getting Married!

Parker and I met while both attending Baylor University for undergrad. I was a year ahead of Parker in school but we shared a lot of mutual friends which is what brought our paths together. We started as friends, then best friends and eventually made it official shortly after. From the very beginnjng, we both knew that there was something special between us, we just clicked. We spent a year and a half dating long distance while Parker finished up his undergrad at Baylor and I started working in Minnesota. Eventually I made the move down to Omaha to start nursing school while Parker attended Medical school. We have been dating for over five years all together now and we are so excited for this next chapter in our lives!

It was Boomer's first birthday (our golden retriever), and as any normal Saturday would typically go, we planned to take him for a long birthday walk at our favorite place - Memorial Park. When we reached the top of the memorial near a rose garden, I noticed my dad's car in front of us (spoiler- he and my brother Noah were sent to capture the moment but got the location slightly off). When I turned to ask Parker what my Dad was doing here, I was surprised to find him down on one knee asking me to marry him! This wasn't Parker's original plan, he had wanted to propose in the rose garden, but it couldn’t have been more perfect to share that moment together in one of our favorite places. After spending five years dating and a period of long distance, we are so excited to start our lives together!
