Things To Do

Hiking

One of our favorite activities is hiking and there are tons of different hiking option around Sedona with stunning views. Our recommendation is the Airport Loop Trail where we went for our first dating anniversary or finding a trail that leads to a vortex where you will find a grounding experience due to the magnetic field during this time of year.

Sedona

Besides hiking, Sedona offers plenty of shops and restaurants to explore within the main part of the city. There are usually a lot of farmers and craft markets throughout the city, we recommend checking outside the Element Sedona in the Sedona Vista Village for one of these. If you love to drive around, we recommend driving up the 89A towards Flagstaff, pulling off on 989D to visit the Oak Creek Overlook before heading back down towards the city. Slide Rock is also along this route, so if you have time, pack a swimsuit!

Jerome

Just a 45 minute drive away, Jerome is an exciting, historical place filled with amazing food and shops. Our favorite spot to eat there is The Clinkscale. For our spooky lover friends, Jerome also has haunted tours and a restaurant at the Jerome Grand Hotel. If you love to drive around, on your way back to Phoenix after the wedding, we recommend driving through Jerome to Prescott (Pres-kit for our out-of-staters), then head towards the I17 to head back down to Phoenix.

Red Agave Resort

There are hiking trails right off the hotel property towards Bell Rock (also perfect for renting mountain bikes), as well as a heated pool on property and golfing near by. Ask the hotel about stay and play packages for golfing (only after solidifying a room at the resort).
