Maid of Honor
Ciara Cimino is so grateful to be apart of Parker and Dusty’s wedding as the Maid of Honor. She first met Parker when she was 12 years old when they shared the stage together in Alice in Wonderland. They have been in countless productions together and great friends ever since. Ciara has known Dusty for 4 years now after meeting through mutual friends/coworkers at Six Flags Over Texas. She is so happy that Dusty and Parker have found each other and wishes them all the love in the world.
Best Man
I first met Dusty when we were 12. We’ve known each other over half of our lives now! I still clearly remember my first impression of him when we met at all-region choir concert in the 7th grade. Try to imagine him with twice the energy, inability to control his volume, and not able to sit still! Then again, who wasn’t a handful when they were in middle school!? Thankfully we did NOT go to the same school… until high school. I remember sophomore year during the first choir rehearsal, and Dusty was there a few chairs down. I soon realized that while he may not have been the most behaviorally mature at the time, his heart was far beyond and bigger than those of our peers. I looked up one day and realized we were dear friends! I hope it endures for a long time. Congrats to you two!!

I met Parker when she started dating my Brother in-law Dusty. I instantly loved her. Her fun loving spirit and genuine kindness made it easy. However, it was her heart for the Lord that stood out the most. I bonded quickly with her as she prayed for me and helped me through some difficult seasons in my life. I am truly blessed to know Parker. And excited to have a friend and sister in Christ join the family!

Well I’ve obviously known my sister since birth. She is older than me, and I haven’t known life without her. When it’s your sister, you’re forced to be friends, but Parker and I have made a lot of crazy memories together. Dusty on the other hand, we met and instantly vibed. The first time we met we dabbed at each other, and we’ve been dabbing ever since. Congratulations on starting your own family together!

As the older sister of the bride, I would say I know the bride pretty well. Growing up with Parker was definitely interesting. Never a dull moment, from day 1 until now! Being the older sister, I have always found it interesting to see the ways she follows my lead, and the ways she’s been her own person. Seeing her stand on her own two feet and walk forward into her own life brings me joy and excitement for her future. I pray that God brings many blessings into her and Dusty’s new marriage!

I have known dusty for a very long time! Since he was a baby! He has grown into a very funny guy and I am going to take full credit for that! One memory that stands out more than others is a game I invented when we were growing up called “TRIPS” It was a game where the kids had to try and get by me without me tripping them. It was more a game where I just got to hurt them. It was Dusty’s favorite game!!! I love the man he has become and I am so excited for him and Parker to become one and celebrate life together. Dusty is my brother and I love him!

I’ve known Parker all my life, literally, because she is my sister. Now Dusty I met and I didn’t like him at first, but now 2 years later and he’s grown on me a little, but that’s not important. The story I have is how Parker and Dusty found their engagement song (‘Only Us’ from Dear Evan Hansen). They had just made their YouTube channel and were trying to figure out what song they wanted to sing for it. So I said “y’all should sing Only Us”! They said they’d never heard it before, so like a good sister I made them listen to it, and look how far they’ve come.

Me and Dusty met during rehearsals for the musical "Truthical" in 2018. We immediately became friends because we both are extroverted, comical, and passionate performers. Dusty is one of the most genuine people I know and is willing to do whatever it takes to help his friends in times of great need. I have been blessed by his kind heart and his sense of adventure that pulls me out of my comfort zone. He has stretched me as a performer and as a person. I know I can talk to Dusty about anything and be free from judgment. I am honored to stand by his side and I know he is ready to be a great husband. Parker has been a firm foundation for Dusty and I know that she is the right person for him. I cannot wait to see the legacy that blooms from their union. I love them both so much! Congrats!

I met Parker at Gateway’s 2018 Chasing Lights audition. She was the first person I talked to!! A few weeks later I met Dusty during the rehearsal process while I was getting coffee. Little did I know they would start hanging out. I think some of my favorite memories with Parker and Dusty include riding in the back on the way to lunch during Joseph rehearsals!

Dusty has always been the mean traumatizing older brother. The one i have aesthetically nothing in common with, but we share a bond that no one can replace. We are brothers! He challenges me and irritates me in the same breath! less than a year apart but so different in so many ways. He has a genuine heart and the most outgoing personality of anyone I know. From bursting into random songs to dance moves we all love to forget. My favorite memory with him is watching him perform in his choir and Harmony shows. It's his element. Then again, he did slam me into a wooden coffee table one time and it broke into 100 pieces!! Good times.

I met Parker at Birdville Baptist where the guy I was dating at the time went to church. We became friends instantly and from then on have been friends.. for the most part. We’ve had our trials and errors but in the end this beautiful woman has always been right there whether I choose to see it or not. I love this girl with everything and so does my sweet little angel.

Up until now I was the most recent member to marry into the Gerdes family, but today, I get to pass that honor onto my man Dusty. I'd like to officially go on record by saying, "Good move, dude." Parker, I'm so happy you found a guy that cherishes you and treats you with genuine love. You guys are a fantastic match, I'm praying that today is the start of a great adventure for you both. Morgan and I are always here for you.

I met Parker when we were both strutting around in diapers! God truly blessed me with a lifelong friend that has given me so much joy and laughter. From sending each other letters to going to youth camp together to inventing our own handshake, I am truly thankful to have a bffnmw in Parker.

I met Dusty and Parker through Gateway Performing Arts and had the privilege of taking them up on a flight at the very beginning of their relationship. Also last year during our production of Christmas City USA, Dusty and I were assigned to be prayer partners during the shows and it was awesome to get to pray before every show with him. I'm excited for Dusty and Parker and this new adventure they're embarking on!

Sophie Mings has known Parker since elementary school. They met at Kingdom Kids Co-op and then went on to perform together at Artisan for 8 years! Some of Sophie’s favorite memories with Parker are working together at Cafe Medi, being double cast as Ariel in the Little Mermaid TWICE, and Chick-fil-a lunches in between Children’s shows. Sophie is ecstatic for Parker and Dusty to take this step in their relationship, and is so thankful that they found each other. “I’ve never seen Parker happier!”

I am Dusty’s oldest brother. Gamer. Writer. Lover of most nerdy things. I love making others laugh and being a goofball is easy for me. I like to think that I’ve taught Dusty how to be a goofball. More importantly, though, I love God. And seeing how the Lord has worked in Dusty and Parker’s relationship has been awesome. I pray for their marriage to thrive and Dusty would become the spiritual leader I know he’s meant to be. I’m honored to have him as a little brother and I hope that I’ve set a good example for him. And knowing how supportive and awesome Parker is, I realize she’ll keep him grounded in his faith and make him a better man, husband and father.
