Is everything at the same location?

Answer

No! Our ceremony will be held in the rose garden at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh (near NC State's campus). The reception is at Olde Raleigh Distillery in Zebulon, which is about a 30 minute drive from the ceremony. Carpooling is recommended if possible.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There will be a bar at the reception, and we will be giving out tokens to guests who wish to drink for one drink on us. But don't fret - the bar will also act as a cash bar should you wish to purchase more drinks throughout the night.

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding, so wear what you feel best in! The loose dress code is dressy/semi-formal. Anything from Sunday best to cocktail attire - we just ask that you refrain from jeans, t-shirts, and other casual attire. Please note that the ceremony will also be held outdoor, rain or shine, so dress accordingly. Additionally, some walking pathways in the garden may be unpaved, and guests will be seated on a grass lawn. For that reason, you may want to avoid stilettos or thin heels.

Can I bring my kids? What about a plus one?

Due to space constraints, we ask that only those listed on your invitation come to the wedding.

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the garden, rain or shine. The reception will be indoors.

What's the wedding itinerary?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at 4pm at the JC Raulston Arboretum. We request that you please arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to make your way through the garden and find your seats. The reception will be held after the ceremony at Olde Raleigh Distillery in Zebulon, about a 30 minute drive from the ceremony.
