Brylee Batts

February 21, 2026

Tomball, TX

Our Story

We first met while working at Miramont Country Club in College Station, Texas. Parker was a golf pro, and Brylee was a lifeguard. Our very first interaction happened during a junior golfers’ pool day, when Parker introduced himself—and we ended up talking the entire two hours, completely distracting each other from our jobs. Once golf camps ended, Parker found any excuse imaginable to be at the pool just to talk to Brylee. On June 18th, he asked her to lunch, and on June 19th, we went on our first date. Parker ordered a giant burrito while Brylee played it safe with a small bowl of pasta. He then made his second bold decision of the day: spending $65 on Lululemon shorts to impress his future (and very frugal) wife… and it worked. Our second date came quickly. Parker did what he knew best—showing Brylee how he could hit a golf ball. Even his bad shots amazed her, and she quickly became his biggest cheerleader. That night, we made our first sweet memory at Andy’s Frozen Custard, where Parker learned about Brylee’s love for ice cream. By June 24th, we were officially dating. From the beginning, we found that the best and only way to grow stronger was by keeping Christ at the center of our relationship. We both grew up with a foundation of faith, but growing spiritually together showed us why we were meant for each other. As we became more serious and met each other’s families, it became clear to everyone how deeply we cared for one another. A major test came when Parker finished his time at Miramont and moved home to start a new career. Long distance wasn’t easy, but we made it meaningful—Parker wrote letters, and Brylee always had a thoughtful gift ready when we saw each other. The distance only strengthened our bond. After Brylee graduated from Texas A&M and moved to Houston, Parker felt pulled toward Austin… but God had other plans. Four months later, Parker received a job offer in the Houston area. By May 2025, we were finally living in the same city—working, building our life together, and dreaming about the future. It didn’t take long before Parker got down on one knee and asked Brylee to marry him. On February 21, 2026, we will come before God, our family, and our friends to commit our lives to one another and become one through Christ. Some may say everything happened fast—dating fast, getting engaged fast, and getting married fast. But it’s not our timing… it’s God’s.
