Parker and Becky met while they were both going to college at the University of Florida. The first time they met was at a campus ministry meeting, where Parker was volunteering on the welcoming team. He introduced himself to Becky, who was new to the group, and they had a short conversation about being in the same college. A few weeks later, Parker came up to Becky and introduced himself again. Parker had clearly forgotten they had met and Becky didn't want to make it awkward, so they ended up having the exact same conversation as when they first met. Yikes.

Over the next year, Becky started to become friends with many of the people in Parker's circle. But over the summer, Becky was taking classes in Gainesville, while Parker was back home for an internship. After coming up to visit his friends, Parker started thinking about Becky and decided he would try to get to know her better in the fall. During the fall semester, Parker and Becky started to become close friends. Parker began pursuing Becky and on a few occasions came close to asking her out on a date. Becky wasn't interested in the same way at first. Slowly but surely, Parker somehow won Becky over!

On February 29th, Parker proposed to Becky on the Erwin's View Overlook at Linville Falls in North Carolina. Parker had planned for our friends to get there early and hide, but things didn't go as planned. Somehow Parker and Becky got to the top and caught them before they were hidden. Despite being shocked and not sure what to do, Parker managed to get on one knee - and Becky said yes! Later on, Becky told Parker not to worry about the surprise being ruined because she had known the whole the time. Shortly after their engagement, Becky graduated from college and has been planning a big move to Georgia. There, Becky will start her Dietetic Internship at the Southern Regional Medical Center, bringing her one step closer to becoming a Registered Dietitian. Parker hopes to find production work in the film industry when moving to Atlanta and bring himself one step closer to his dream of becoming a film director. With this move in mind and the state of current events, Parker and Becky realized that a wedding in December may not happen like the way they have planned. Ready to start their lives together, Parker and Becky decided to get married early on June 28th at 10:00 am on the beaches of Sanibel Island, Florida with an intimate ceremony with their families. No matter what the future holds, Parker and Becky are excited to walk through life together, thankful that God brought them together. And we can't wait to celebrate this new marriage with you!
