Bride
Amanda, originally from Florida, is a proud VFL (Vol For Life). Amanda graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She is very excited to be back in her home away from home state of Tennessee to marry her best friend, Parker! After Tennessee, Amanda went on to graduate school at Northwestern University to pursue a Master's in Prosthetics and Orthotics which is where she met two of her lovely bridesmaids, Megan and Rachael. It was her residency program after Northwestern that brought her back to Georgia which is where the bride and groom reconnected and well, all must have gone well if you are reading this today!
Groom
Parker, raised in Alaska (could these two have grown up further apart? Florida and Alaska!), is a multi-engine commercial pilot, that has a passion for all things mechanical (planes, muscle cars, dirt bikes, and motorcycles, to name a few). Fun fact: Parker had told Amanda that he would teach her how to ride a dirt bike in high school (his excuse to find a way to hang out with her), however, that never happened. But I think we can forgive him because it all seemed to work out in the end. Anyways, in addition to these hobbies, Parker also has a love for travel. One may say that is good being that is his career is in aviation! However, if you ask him, he will most likely tell you that his favorite place to be is home, especially with his future bride.
Maid of Honor
Kristin is Amanda's sister. Growing up when Kristin and Amanda would sing Disney duets, Kristin was always the princess and Amanda was always the prince. Well today the tables have turned. Amanda is the princess!
Best Man
Colton is Parker's cousin. He is also the one that endured the hike up Mount Baldy in Eagle River, Alaska and captured the special moment when Parker proposed to Amanda on August 5, 2022.
Matron of Honor
Megan and Amanda met through the Master's in Prosthetics & Orthotics program at Northwestern. Megan is an avid dog and cat lover, as well as an Ohio State fan (but we can forgive her for that).
Groomsman
Raydan and Parker met in high school and have been friends ever since. Over the years, Parker and Raydan have both pursued careers in aviation.
Bridesmaid
Prestley is Parker's sister. Parker and Prestley are both world traveler and nature junkies. Looking for someone to go hiking or camping with? The two of them are always up for the adventure! Fun fact: Amanda, Parker, Kristin, Raydan, and Prestley all went to the same high school.
Groomsman
Noah and Parker grew up in Alaska together. There's always a motor or something mechanical involved when spending time together, a snow mobile in Alaska, a boat in Florida or an airplane in Georgia, you name it, these two have driven or flown it. These motors heads are buddies for life.
Bridesmaid
Rachael and Amanda also met through the Master's in Prosthetics & Orthotics program at Northwestern. Rachael has never met a dance floor she didn't like! Be sure to come join the party with us on the dance floor, along with her husband, Vince! Newlywed on August 27, 2022!
Groomsman
David and Parker met during their time at Valdosta State University. David is a government relations coordinator in New York. While their career may have taken them separate ways and all across the US, David and Parker have continued to stay friends since.
Bridesmaid
Breanna is Amanda's aunt. Yes, you read that correctly. She may be younger, but she is Amanda's aunt. If this was a superlative, Breanna wins the superlative for the littlest bridesmaid. She may be tiny but she's mighty and full of love.
Groomsman
Seth is Amanda's cousin. They are both proud, die hard University of Tennessee, Knoxville fans. Seth and Amanda are working hard on converting Parker into a crazed UT fan as well. Seth was there when Parker went to his very first UT game! So, far so good. Going on Season 3. Go Vols!
