We met through a mutual friend during one of those late-night gaming sessions that somehow always stretched into the early morning hours. Little did we know, we were about to find our perfect teammate for life. Our first official date was at National Harbor in Maryland, where we wandered through shops, strolled along the water, and made it to the Peeps store just before closing (priorities, right?). From that day on, we spent every moment growing together—celebrating birthdays, holidays, and all the little moments in between that made life feel like an adventure. Five years in, Parker knew it was time. He wanted to mark this milestone by making things official, so he planned the perfect proposal at a winery. He rented a private tent, had a charcuterie board waiting, and even pre-ordered a rosé cake. As we sat talking and enjoying our cake, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Tears flowed (from both of us—yes, even Parker got watery-eyed), and of course, the answer was yes. Our relationship is built on playful teasing, painting competitions with ridiculously limited color palettes, co-op gaming sessions, cooking experiments, and spontaneous adventures. We share our home with our cat Nahla and our two chinchillas, Mort and Julien, who keep life interesting. We've been together for 6 years, and the day after our wedding will mark 7 years of us.
