We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met through two of our best friends! When my friend moved out to the PNW I knew I wanted to visit. On my first trip out there I got to meet Adam and it was about a year later that we started our journey together. I came back for a second visit and got to know Adam a bit more. His jokes were mostly funny and we bonded over Criminal Minds and Top Gun so when it came time for me to return home he offered to take me to the airport. We talked the whole way there and by the end we both decided to take a chance (albeit a wild and crazy one). Adam flew out to Indianapolis the next month and that was our beginning.

After a year full of surprises we realized our hiking adventure in California definitely needed postponed. So we decided to join my family for spring break instead and headed down to Siesta Keys, Florida for a little R&R before little miss Poppy was here. One of the evenings we were rushing to try to catch a sunset on the beach. When we finally got out there we were just in time to watch it go down. As we were walking along the water I was picking up shells and handing them to Adam for safe keeping. Little did I know he was distracted and throwing a few back into the ocean. I handed him a couple more before I realized what was happening and the next thing I know he got down on one knee and asked to spend the rest of our lives together. I was so happy I could barely see through the tears and get the words out to tell him Yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Washington!
