We're getting married!

We first met in youth group when we were in middle and high school and had a lot of mutual friends but were never super close to each other. After Carly came back from her freshman year of college, a mutual friend of ours invited her to play pickleball with the young adults ministry from church. One week Parker showed up to pickleball, and even though we had not seen each other in years, we immediately started catching up and hit it off. We spent a lot of time together playing pickleball and taking late-night Buc-ee's trips with friends that summer. Carly moved back to Athens in August for school where she was able to take Parker to date nights for her sorority and a few UGA football games! After a few months of going on dates Parker asked Carly to be his girlfriend in early September! Over the next two and a half years we went on countless hiking dates, visited new places, and spent time with friends and family in Athens and McDonough. Parker planned a "birthday trip" with some of our friends to Asheville, North Carolina to celebrate his birthday this past November, but little did Carly know, everyone else knew the trip as the "engagement trip." We drove up to the top of a gorgeous mountain to take pictures with our friends where Parker asked Carly to marry him on December 1st, 2025!
