Caleb and Alli met at Long Prairie- Grey Eagle Elementary School in the 5th Grade after Caleb's family moved back to their hometown. From the first day of meeting each other, little 10-year-old Alli had the biggest crush on him. As the middle school years flew by, Alli's crush on Caleb continued. Alli tried many attempts to get Caleb to notice her, but nothing worked. Eventually, Caleb started homeschooling classes and Alli was ready to give up on the impossible. Fall 2019 was the start of their freshman year, Alli and Caleb's friends became one friend group, and they began to talk more. Alli begged her mom to go to football games and wrestling tournaments just to watch him. A spark ignited and on January 28th, 2020, Caleb asked Alli out. Covid hit like a brick, and they were once again separated but that did not stop Caleb from biking 10 miles back and forth multiple times a week to see Alli. High school flew by in a flash. Prom, sports, summers, they did it all together. They were even voted High School Sweethearts in their yearbook. The couple eventually moved in together and started to build their careers. After they got settled in Alexandria MN and celebrated over 5 years of being together, August 9th, 2025, Caleb asked Alli to marry him. What seemed like an impossible dream for 10-year-old Alli, will now be theirs forever.
