We love walking around Hartford—it’s one of our favorite things about the city! It's easy to get around, with plenty to explore on foot. The downtown area is accessible, and you'll find great spots to eat, grab a drink, or just enjoy the city vibe, all within walking distance. If walking isn't your thing or you want to venture out a little farther, Hartford is also very Uber-friendly, so rides are easy to catch whenever needed. That said, renting a car might be worth it if you're planning to explore more of Connecticut or take a few day trips. The highways are nearby, and it’s a great way to see more of the area. Either way, Hartford is ready for you!
