When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. For women, an above the knee length or midi dress is great. No formal gowns required. For men, a jacket and tie or traditional suit is appropriate.

Is there parking near the hotel, ceremony, or reception?

Answer

Parking is available for the ceremony in the lot directly next to the church. For the hotel and reception venue, several paid parking options are available in the vicinity. We recommend checking out SpotHero for paid parking options. Parking near Cafe Brauer can be a bit of a challenge though, so street parking may be your best bet.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a two hour break between the end of our ceremony (4PM) and the start of our reception (6PM). Shuttles from the ceremony will return to the Westin, where we encourage you to freshen up and grab a drink at the hotel bar. Shuttles from the Westin to the reception will depart at 5:20PM. If you'd prefer to stay near Old Town & Lincoln Park, there are plenty of places to pass the time. We recommend Corcoran's for a casual drink or the J. Parker for a more upscale vibe.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 12:00 am. If you want to keep the party going, meet us at The Kerryman in River North. A shuttle at the end of the reception will head to the after party. Please note this is not a formal wedding event, but just a place to gather and celebrate after the reception ends.
