We're Getting Married!

We met in high school while working at Schnucks (local STL grocery store), I was a cashier, and he was a bagger. We didn't think much of each other as we were just friends who talked every day and liked being around each other. It wasn't until summer 2016 before departing to separate colleges that we suddenly knew we never wanted to be without one another.

On a random Saturday Rob persuaded me to get dressed up because he had made reservations at a local restaurant. His behavior didn't come off suspicious as romantic gestures are a natural part of his character. It was when we arrived back at our home after a great evening, that he told me to wait at the door because he had a surprise. After what felt like hours of waiting, he walked me into our living room that had been covered with roses and balloons. It was very hard to concentrate on his speech as my eyes were glued to the ROCK that was in his hand. After a short awkward pause, I blurted out "YES." We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Kansas City!
