Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

As indicated on the invitation, the ceremony will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1302 Finch Ave, Pickering, ON L1V 7B7 The reception will be held at 7 Mosa Ct, Ajax, ON L1T 1Y3 The drive from the ceremony space to the reception venue is about 12 minutes.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no specific dress code, but we do have a few simple requests. To the best of your abilities, please try to stay away from black or dark colours, as we want this to be a light, bright, and colourful event. Gentlemen, we kindly ask that you wear dress pants, and a collared shirt. Suits, jackets, and ties are optional. Ladies, we kindly ask that you not wear white, beige, or cream. Whether you choose to wear a dress, a skirt, or dress pants is up to you.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In mid-June, Southern Ontario typically experiences warm, pleasant weather. And the reception venue is outdoors, so please keep this in mind.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for everyone to be able to have their own personal photos and videos of our wedding day. However, we kindly ask that phones be kept out of the aisle during the entire ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we want our guests to enjoy our wedding day and not have to worry about paying for drinks. But we ask everyone to be modest and mindful when consuming alcoholic beverages.
