We met in early 2023 and immediately bonded over our mutual Bay Area roots and love of growing up connected to the ocean. We are both proud fourth‑generation Bay Area natives— Ryan from the small seaside town of Tiburon and Parin from the East Bay town of Clayton at the base of Mt. Diablo. A first date at Bar Bocce followed by sushi at Sushi Ran in Sausalito sealed the deal quickly, and the early days of our relationship were spent hiking in the Marin headlands, trying new bars and restaurants in the Marina, traveling to family cabins in Mendocino and Donner Lake, and cooking homemade meals. 2025 was an exciting year in that we bought and renovated our first home, a condo right across from the Richmond yacht club, and got engaged in Tennessee Valley Park, at the site of our second date. We can't wait to celebrate with you all in the town where it all went down!
