We met in September 2014 during our first year of high school, in Geography class. We quickly began a ritual of texting each other each night at 11:11, sending each other wishes and songs, and irreversibly ruining our sleep schedules. We kept this up most nights for all four years of high school. To preserve our friendship, neither of us revealed our feelings for the other until halfway through our final year of school. When I realized we'd be in different cities after graduation and would probably fall out of contact, I decided to make sure Jaden knew how I felt. We had our first date on January 29th 2018 and started officially dating February 14 the same year. Jaden asked me to marry him at the Toronto Royal Botanical Gardens on September 22 2024.
