...on a Friday night at Emory in 2017. Han and Pareena, both freshmen, were paired together for a practical exam after sitting quietly studying in the back, waiting until they were the last ones called. As they walked back to campus after class, Pareena kept Han laughing, and he made her feel comfortable enough to share stories from her freshman year, even though it was their first real conversation. There was an instant connection, and by the time they reached her dorm, Pareena couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like if they were more than friends. Over the next few semesters, fate brought them closer together. They became best friends, spending countless hours studying, eating at the dining hall, and sharing the ups and downs of college life. By their sophomore year, with coincidentally identical schedules, their bond deepened. Eventually, on a crisp wintery night (February 21st, 2019), standing near the spot where their first conversation had ended, Pareena shared her feelings. To her delight, Han felt the same. Their relationship blossomed quickly, filled with memorable dates exploring Atlanta, visiting the Botanical Gardens, riding the Centennial Park Ferris Wheel, and having a romantic dinner 73 stories above the ATL skyline. After graduating from college, Pareena and Han attended medical school in different states but always made time for each other. By the end of medical school, Pareena and Han had driven roughly 50,000 miles to see each other, that’s about twice the circumference of the Earth! Now, after years of laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable bond, Han and Pareena are finally ready to celebrate the next chapter of their journey together, marriage! They couldn’t have done it without the love and support of family and friends, and they can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
