Matron of Honor
We became best friends in 2005 while paired together in a rush group during Pi Beta Phi recruitment at Drury. We shared a love of SNL, Steak and Shake and Mexican Villa. She is an incredible friend with a huge heart. Whenever I doubted I would actually find "the one" she always stayed positive and had full faith that I would. She has an amazing family that I consider my second family.
Best Man
I met Nick nearly 34 years ago when I came into this world as the youngest of 5. Nick and I didn’t always see eye to eye on things but after trying out and nearly making it on the Amazing Race in 2008 we’ve been two peas in a pod. I can’t wait to have Nick standing next to me and can’t thank him enough for being one of the reasons I found Abby.
Bridesmaid
I first met Julia on July 4, 2015 when my brother Adam brought her as his date my Mom's birthday party. She fit right into our family and we are so happy she married into the McClellan Clan. Two of my favorite things about Julia are her love of a good themed party (her outfits are always killer) and her amazing accents.
Groomsman
Thorne and I met at KU and I have him to thank for introducing me to my career at Altria. Thorne and I left KU and spent many years together at Altria before we both ended back up in Kansas City. Whether golfing, hunting, or talking retirement planning- Thorne is always there.
Bridesmaid
Jen and I first met when my brother Peter brought her to Fort Madison to meet the family, but it felt like we had known Jen for years because Peter talked non-stop to her when they were long distance! When Jen moved to Kansas City she and Peter lived down the hall from me at TwoLight. We became work-out buddies and I loved sharing meals with her because of her amazing cooking.
Groomsman
I met "Doc" at KU during informal rush. Over the last 15 years, Doc and I have remained close and he can always be relied upon to be a golfing partner any day of the week or time of the year.
Bridesmaid
I first met Jen the summer before high school senior year at Missouri Girl's State when we were placed in the same city together. As city mayor I had to do headcount every day. On the first day of my new role I found Jen hiding in the dorm closet talking to her boyfriend on a banned cell phone. She has continued to add fun stories to my life since we went to Drury together.
Groomsman
Garret and I met during our time at KU and crossed paths through Greek Life, Lifestylez ski trips, and IFC. We both ended up on the east coast and spent a lot of time in each other’s cities over the years where one of the highlights was attending Game 5 of the World Series where the Royals beat the Mets for their first WS Championship in 30 years.
Bridesmaid
Molly and I first met at Drury when we lived on the same floor. We both had very odd roommates and bonded over that. Molly and I studied abroad together in London and have enjoyed traveling together ever since. We also both love soccer and have watched both US men and women's soccer teams play in World Cup Qualifiers.
Groomsman
Dan is a fellow SigEp from KU and over the last 10+ years we have traveled, skied, droned, and golfed all over the place. Always down for a good time and one of the funniest people I know.
