A Marquette MUST hike. One of the best views of the land & water you can get. This is about a 15-20 minute hike up; Lots of steps with natural rooty trails between. Moderate difficulty. Wear appropriate footwear & clothing. There are two parking lots, one with vault toilets.
Walk is fairly short and easy; accessible. Excellent view of Lake Superior and lake independence. Facilities available

Marquette’s favorite end of summer festival is back in Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park Thursday, August 27th, Friday, August 28th, and Saturday, August 29th. Filled with fun for the whole family, great food, beverages, and music, this festival has a purpose. HarborFest, sponsored by Marquette West Rotary, raises money to support Marquette County non-profit organizations providing programs and services that improve the quality of life for residents of all ages. Marquette West Rotary was founded in 1984 and has raised over $700,000 for grants for over 50 local non-profits. Sales from wristbands, beer, wine, and seltzer support the mission of Marquette West Rotary. No carry ins. Bring your own chairs or blanket and join in the fun. Admission is free, so what are you waiting for! Join us for three days of fun in Marquette’s Mattson Lower Harbor Park!
