Best Davis Ever

On April 22nd, 2022, my sister invited me to a friend’s birthday party. I was hesitant at first, but after she asked me several times, I decided to go. My sister and I arrived before the guest of honor. As soon as Quita walked in, she caught my attention. I couldn’t help but be drawn to her—everyone around her seemed to gravitate toward her, which only piqued my interest even more. When she started dancing near me, I took that as my cue to strike up a conversation. I ordered some fries and offered her some, to which she eagerly replied, "YES, I want some!"—of course, I had to order another batch. We talked for a bit, and I eventually asked if she was seeing anyone. When she said no, we exchanged numbers, and by the end of the night, we were heading to Waffle House together. From that moment, we talked every day. Not long after, I moved back to Nashville, and we’d stay up talking on the phone every night. On June 10th, 2022, we made things official, and since then, we've been inseparable.
