FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicole Pappas and Raymond Clark
We've gathered answers to some of the most common questions to help make your planning easier! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to either Nicole or Ray—we’re happy to answer anything else!
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. Think suits or dress shirts with slacks for men, and cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women. Our ceremony will be outside and we want everyone to feel comfortable and look fabulous while celebrating with us!

Question

What’s the weather typically like this time of year?

Answer

The weather is typically mild in April! We are hoping for no rain, and the temperature is usually in the 60s during the day and can drop to the low 50s at night.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be under a beautiful, covered, pavilion outdoors followed by cocktail hour on the large open patio area outside of the reception space. If there is rain, the cocktail hour will be under the pavilion. The reception will be inside a temperature-controlled "barn" with the option to step outside to cool off from all the dancing in the evening air and sit by the fire pit.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We would recommend arranging to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to our ceremony starting to have time to take in the gorgeous view, find a seat, and relax.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is! There is a gravel parking lot attached to the venue and our hosts are gracious enough to even let you leave your cars there overnight if you need to call a ride. They just ask that vehicles be picked up the following day prior to 11:00 am.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate plus-ones if they were specifically included on your invitation or in your RSVP options. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. If your children are specifically included in your invitation or we've spoken with you directly, they are welcome to attend. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a child-free evening. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Where should I stay? Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

We’re working on reserving a hotel block at a nearby location for your convenience—details coming soon! In the meantime, there are plenty of great hotel and Airbnb options throughout Huntersville and surrounding areas to suit different styles and budgets. Stay tuned for updates, and feel free to choose what works best for you!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We’re excited to serve a delicious pasta bar with a variety of veggies and toppings! Gluten-free options will be available. If you have any other dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to Nicole or Ray as soon as possible—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

At this time, we are not planning to provide transportation to or from the venue. However, guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight as long as they are picked up by 11:00 AM the following morning. If you plan on drinking, we highly encourage using Uber, Lyft, or a designated driver to get home safely!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, we do have a small registry for a few thoughtful items. However, since we've already lived in and loved our home for some time, we would be especially grateful for cash gifts. Your generosity will help us save for our future family and some exciting home renovations. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Once invitations are sent out, we kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by March 1. Your response will help us finalize all the fun details, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What COVID-19 precautions will be taken?

Answer

Your health and safety mean the world to us. If you’re experiencing any COVID-like symptoms, please stay home and take care of yourself. We love and want everyone there to celebrate with us, but we also don’t want to risk anyone’s health. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate when you’re feeling well!
