Belle and Jake first met long before either of them knew what life had in store. Jake and Rachael’s (MOH) moms have been best friends for years, which meant Belle, Jake, and Rachael spent countless summers camping together at Smokey Hollow. Back then, though, the girls and the boys pretty much stuck to their own sides, so Belle and Jake didn’t think much of each other beyond being part of the same group. Years later, all three ended up at UW–Milwaukee, and that’s when things started to change. Jake began spending more time with Belle’s friend group, and he fit in so easily it was like he’d always been there. Neither of them could’ve guessed that those casual hangouts would turn into something more. Over time, their friendship naturally grew into something deeper. What started out simple and easy turned into a relationship built on mutual respect, shared values, and a lot of laughter. Since then, Belle and Jake have only grown closer—through their love for family, life with their fur babies Thor and Beau, and the way they’ve supported each other through every challenge and adventure along the way. Now, after a story that started in childhood and came full circle in adulthood, they’re excited to officially begin their forever together.
