Estes Park sits at 7,522 feet of elevation! Here are a few things to keep in mind when coming to higher elevation: 1. Drink plenty of water! This will help you adjust to dryness and altitude change. We recommend starting to really hydrate the week before even coming to Colorado. 2. Acclimate at lower elevations. If you are concerned about alitutde sickness, consider spending a few days in Denver before coming to Estes Park. Denver is located at 5,280 feet elevation and it will give your body some time to adjust. 3. Weather. There is a small chance it could be sunny, rain, hail, snow, and everything in between on our wedding day. Please pack layers. 4. Wear sunscreen and sunglasses! The sun is strong and we want you all to protect your skin and eyes. 5. Alcohol. Alcohol can affect you more at elevation. Also, hangovers hit hard...you've been warned:) Drink water!
We love your kids but due to space constraints we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.
We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our closest family and friends and keeping the guest list limited. Please only bring yourself unless it is otherwise specified on your invitation.
Please make sure to get a negative COVID test within 48-72 hours of attending the events. If you are not feeling well or received a positive test, please stay home. These guidelines will also be updated based on the local city ordinance.
The welcome event is casual such as sundresses and slacks and a button down. The wedding is summer semi formal/formal. Think suit and tie, fancy jumpsuits, cocktail and mid-length dress! The farewell breakfast is very casual. Wear jeans, leggings, sundresses, t-shirts, overalls, or whatever. Colorado weather can be unpredictable. We suggest bringing a sweater or jacket in case it gets cold!
