Can I use US dollars in Anguilla?

Answer

The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is the official currency of Anguilla, however, the US dollar is widely accepted across the island. The exchange rate is US$1.00 = EC$2.68.

Can I take out money on the island?

Answer

Yes! There are a variety of locations in Anguilla that have ATMs you can use. We recommend however taking out cash before you arrive to avoid any transaction fees!

When do I need to book my hotel room by?

Answer

If you are booking at The Reef under our room block, the hotel asks that you do so by October 1, 2021.

What is the best way to travel to Anguilla?

Answer

Under our travel tab, you will see our recommended ways of travel - we highly recommend flying into Saint Martin Airport, and then taking a public or private ferry to Anguilla.

How far is the ferry drop off to The Reef?

Answer

Blowing Point is where the ferry drops travellers off when arriving in Anguilla. The ferry terminal is about 4 miles from the hotel, and always has taxi drivers available for rides.

What is the discounted room price at The Reef?

Our room block is from Wednesday, November 24th-Sunday, November 28th at $325/per night (USD).

Do I have to book at The Reef?

Answer

While we suggest staying at The Reef due to ease of access to all of our wedding fun, it is certainly not required! Feel free to look around at other resorts/villas that may be more within your budget.

Is there anything included in my stay at The Reef?

Answer

Yes! To start, a complimentary welcome beverage will be given at the time of your arrival at The Reef. Each morning their will be an included continental breakfast served, as well as complete access to the amenities at The Reef and their parent resort, Cuisinart (1 mile down the road from The Reef). All guests are able to use the hotel's shuttle service to and from each resort as well. A discounted rate will also be applied to each reservation made at the Spa and Golf Course if any guest chooses to do either of those services.

What documents do I need when traveling to Anguilla?

Answer

You will need a valid passport as well as your license to travel to Anguilla. When going through customs in Saint Martin/Anguilla/The U.S. they require these documents. *NEW UPDATE* All travelers MUST have proof of a COVID-19 vaccination 3-weeks prior to travel OR a negative PCR COVID-19 test to be admitted onto the island of Anguilla.

All COVID-19 travel protocols for Anguilla are listed on the website below. Our wedding timeframe falls under: PHASE 3 of the island's reopening schedule which states all vaccinated visitors MUST show proof of vaccination, or, if not vaccinated must provide a negative COVID-19 test.
