How did you meet?

Answer

We met each other on Bumble while Claire was on a Disney trip with her Aunt Rebecca, Aunt Kathy, and Bakhtawar in 2022! While on her trip, Claire picked up a metal spork for Joe from Galaxy’s Edge that he mentioned wanting so much; she remembers holding the spork and wondering where things would go with this stranger that she felt so compelled to bring something home for after only knowing for 48 hours. Turns out, this was only the beginning!

Why ‘paper rings’?

Answer

Throughout their relationship, Joe has always made Claire paper rings wherever they go; from spontaneous coffee dates to fancy restaurants, any straws with a paper wrapping were turned into little mementos of the life they hoped they might have together one day.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be summer semi-formal/cocktail. For men, this means suits (suit jacket and suit pants), button down collared shirts, ties/bowties, and dress shoes. For women, this means midi, tea-length, or knee-length formal dresses and heels/dressy sandals. We encourage our guests to wear light and summery colors and fabrics, and floral, summery patterns. If you would like to wear semi-formal attire from your culture (kilts for example) please feel welcome to do so. Our only request is for women to please refrain from wearing white or off-white colors (ivory, cream, etc) out of respect for the bride.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We are unable to accommodate additional plus ones outside of what we have already communicated to individuals at this time. You will be able to RSVP for all invited guests by name, including your plus one (if applicable). Thank you for your understanding.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be promptly beginning at 2:00PM, please aim to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to this time.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that for the ceremony you refrain from taking pictures to remain unplugged and in the moment with us. We are fortunate to have an amazing photographer who will take all the pictures for us, so please: sit back, relax, and enjoy the nuptials as we become husband and wife. Afterwards, you are welcome to take photos during the reception.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue.

Is there going to be transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be formal transportation organized by the bride and groom between any hotel our guests stay at and the venue. Please drink responsibly and make sure you have a safe way home if you plan to indulge (designated driver, uber, etc). Cars cannot be left at the venue overnight, plan accordingly.

Will you be establishing a hotel block?

Answer

No, we were not able to determine if there would be enough interest to justify a hotel block. Instead, please take a look at the travel tab of our website, of which we will notate where we are planning to stay if you’re interested in joining us!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. There will also be nonalcoholic options available. Please drink responsibly.
