Elisabeth and Andrew first met when they were 3 years old in preschool. There are pictures of them playing together with Liz's doll, and she immediately fell for his blonde locks and bright blue Mickey Mouse glasses. They found each other years later in high school in 2002 on a blind date, and went to dinner at Brandywine Brewing Company. They became high school sweethearts. As they grew, they ended up at different colleges, Drew to the University of Richmond and Elisabeth to the University of Delaware. As fate would have it, they again found each other and have been together since. After many, many years of travel, fun adventures, and love, they were married on July 30th, 2021 in a small ceremony at the Greenville Country Club in Delaware. With travel restrictions now lifted, they are celebrating their union at one of their favorite places, the Seabrook Island in South Carolina!

It was a beautiful December day with a layer of snow blanketing the ground, yet the sun was out and shining. Drew and Liz decided to go for a walk around Rockford Park as they often do. Before walking out the door, Liz thought to herself, "oh we kind of match, but well it doesn't matter, we aren't going to see anyone anyway". Little did she know what Drew had planned. On their walk, Liz decided she wanted to take a different route to look at the Christmas lights. This allowed for the perfect setup for Drew to bring her up into the park without any hint as to the plans ahead. When they arrived to the Rockford Tower, Drew got down on one knee and asked Liz to marry him. After Liz whispered a tearful "yes", he then surprised her again with both of their families hiding around the corner! Everyone was able to pop champagne and celebrate their engagement in the park! We are excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you! See you in Seabrook!!
