Our story began in the heart of downtown Ventura, where fate brought us together one unforgettable night at a local bar. Though we'd known of each other for years—Joey from playing the trumpet with my sister—neither of us realized we’d both secretly been crushing on each other. That all changed when I finally worked up the courage to approach Joey, and from that moment on, everything just clicked. Being born and raised in Ventura makes this place even more special to us as we start this next chapter together.
